Workshop on Burn: A rising threat to the society and the role of nurses

The Institute of Nursing organised a workshop on one of the rising threats in human society - burn. The event took place on November 25, 2022.

Prof. Purnima Kundu, Principal, Government College of Nursing, Medical College and hospital, Kolkata was the guest speaker at the event. In her address, she highlighted the roles and responsibilities of the nurses in burn cases. "The main objective of the nurses is to minimise the effects and suffering of the victims through nursing."

The faculty members of the Institute of Nursing also presented papers on various important topics related to burn - from the basics to classification!
