Post-surgical Rehabilitation for Orthopedic Conditions

"Shoulder is one of the most common pathologies, we do not appreciate, recognise and treat. It creates a pathway towards rehabilitation and creating a better life," said Dr. Avishek Das who was present to interact with the students to conduct a workshop on 'Advanced Post-surgical Rehabilitation for Orthopedic Conditions in Neck and Shoulder'.The workshop was organised by the Department of Allied Health Sciences on May 27, 2023.

Most neck and shoulder pain is due to sprains and strains from sports, overexertion, or incorrect posture and it is the most common orthopedic condition among people. Dr. Avijan Sinha spoke about shoulder rehabilitation with his insightful presentation."The most important and vibrant part of the movement is associated with muscle," he noted!

As the workshop progressed, the students also got hands-on training on treating patients with orthopedic conditions from these two experts!
