A one-day online workshop on Top-Paying Digital Careers was organized by the department of Cyber Science and Technology, Brainware University, in collaboration with Indian Institute of Digital Education, on March 4, 2021.

The guest speaker was Ms Dhwani Shah, strategic marketing specialist at IIDE. The session took place on Zoom with a total of 80 participants from various departments.

The primary objective of the workshop was to illustrate the prospective areas in digital platform and the wide scopes of digital career across the globe. To elaborate this, Ms. Shah said, “A majority of growing careers are tech-oriented with artificial intelligence and block chain at the top.”

She also emphasised the emerging job opportunities in the post-pandemic era. “By 2025, 97 million new roles may emerge that are more adapted to the new division of labour between humans, machines and algorithms,” she said.

The session concluded with queries from the participants and a vote of thanks by the head of the department.
