The Department of Food and Nutrition organised a webinar on 'Nutraceuticals: An Emerging Trends in Food Science' on September 29, 2022. The session was conducted by Dr. Pubali Dhar, Professor Department of Home Science, University of Calcutta.

At the session, the speaker mainly discussed spreading awareness about food that is rich in nutraceuticals. She also discussed the importance of nutraceuticals in our daily diet. Furthermore, she spoke about food omics which is a new discipline in the domain of food and nutrition.
