A seminar on the 'Role of Hospital Administrator in Present and Future Delivery Modes'

Healthcare is one of the industries that never slows down. Arnab Smritidi Raha, Chief Operating Officer (COO), HCG ECO Cancer Centre, Kolkata, while speaking with the BBA Hospital Management students pointed out that BBA HM is a choice of evergreen profession. Raha was speaking at a seminar on the 'Role of Hospital Administrator in Present and Future Delivery Modes' organised by the Department of Hospital Management on 23rd August.

Raha highlighted the changing scenario of the healthcare sector in the next 3-5 years due to the pandemic. "Overall healthcare is changing as the profile and patterns of diseases are changing," he added.

He also emphasised the importance of the diagnostic industry as the laboratory industry has come into being. Furthermore, the demand is getting influenced by many other factors.

These seminars are very useful for the students as the BBA HM students are getting to know about the industry and how the industry functions.
