Workshop on HTML, CSS and Javascript by Brainware University

Mastering Programming. Building Careers.

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Brainware University, collaborated with Ardent Computech Pvt. Ltd to organise a three-day workshop on HTML, CSS and Javascript from February 2, 2021 to February 6, 2021 from 3PM. The intention of this workshop was to demystify coding languages and encourage more students to become programmers and contribute to the IT boom.

Our guest speaker, Mr Argha Jati (Senior Developer, Ardent Computech Pvt. Ltd) explained, “Coding isn’t something only the truly gifted can practice. It, like any other language, can be mastered with a lot of hard work and a little bit of patience.”

Discussing the best resources to learn coding, Mr Jati advised, “The best way to practice coding is through open-source websites like ed-x and Codeacademy where you can collaborate with experienced programmers.”

Through live demonstrations of simple coding techniques, Mr Jati showed students how coding can be both rigorous and fun. He ended each session by answering career-related questions of students.

Continuous self-appraisal, excellent networking skills, and mastery over at least one programming language emerged as some of the most important tips which Mr Jati shared with our students.
