The Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) in collaboration with the Institute of Nursing made the Independence Day celebrations at Brainware University memorable. On 12th August, 'Millenial Thoughts', a poster-making competition and an art and craft competition took place at the Institute of Nursing from 2 p.m. onwards to commemorate the 75th Independence Day. Anandita Das, Assistant Registrar (Studnets' Welfare). Brainware University was the Chief Guest at the event.
A video on war memorials was shown to the students which invoked a sense of pride among the young students as worthy successors of this legacy. The students also shared their views on the concept of freedom and independence through fiery speeches following which the poster-making competition started.
The themes for the art and craft competition were Waste to Best' and 'Waste to Wealth'. The students put up several attractive displays on these themes.
It was nice to see the young minds coming forward to express themselves and shared their views on the occasion of Independence Day which assured a better future ahead.
