World Sight Day celebration

The students of Bachelor of Optometry, Department of Allied Health Science, Brainware University celebrated the World Sight Day 2019 on 6th November 2019 by conducting a seminar followed by a field visit. The topic of the seminar is ‘Prevention of Blindness’ which was addressed by the Chief Guest Dr. Shaikh Aarofil Israil (MS) Consultant Ophthalmologist, GNRC Hospital Barasat. Dr. Somnath Ghosh, Associate Professor also enlightened the students on the subject ‘Role of Optometrist in Primary Eye Care’. A poster presentation session was also there after the seminar.
