What is the latest development in the field of Cloud Computing? The Department of Computational Science organised a Workshop on SAP Landscape Design and Migration on AWS Cloud on April 30, 2022 to help students become more familiar with the latest technological development. Ms. Biplab Bala(SAP HANA & Cloud Certified Technical Solution Architect) was the guest speaker for the workshop. The speaker went into details explaining the relevance of SAP HANA and AWS in the current IT market. Since the field of technology is constantly changing, the speaker emphasised that it is vital for students to be aware of the changes so that they can prepare accordingly. SAP HANA, according to the speaker, is a fantastic database management system that is fast and efficient and hence an attractive option for developers. Through live demonstration, the speaker showed the students how the system is used in industry settings. She also pointed students towards resources which would help them learn more about this topic. The second part of this session was based on a live-interaction between the industry expert and students. The speaker answered questions related to interview preparation, programming languages required, and networking tips. The speaker motivated students by saying that in order to get better at programming they need to learn beyond their curriculum and talk to experts. Our department shall continue to foster the bond between the campus and the corporate in order to enhance our students' professional skills
