Building Innovation

To foster and build an environment of innovation and entrepreneurship among students, the Institution Innovation Council and Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Brainware University organized the ‘National Poster Making Competition on Emerging Technologies 2021’ on September 9, 2021 from 3.30 PM.

The event foregrounded emerging trends in science and technology like IoT, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, and attracted participants from other states as well. A notable project included a remote patient monitoring system using IoT and a fuzzy neural network using parameters like blood pressure and cholesterol, while others showcased the diverse real-world applications of AI and the working components of an AI system. “We saw a wide-variety of creative ideas coupled with very exciting real-world applications which made us believe that these students are going to be thought-leaders in the future,” said Dr. Debdutta Pal.

The students had a great learning experience where both their creative spirits were given free reign and their capacity for innovation was tested as well.
