“We must not for a moment forget, it is a birthright of every individual to receive at least the basic education without which he cannot fully discharge his duties as a citizen.” - Maulana Abul Kalam Azad.
Every year the 11th of November is celebrated as 'National Education Day' to celebrate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. The Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) in collaboration with the Department of English and Literary Studies celebrated 'National Education Day'.
On this occasion, students at the university occupied the centre stage and expressed themselves through various means like posters, recitations and speeches at the 'National Education Day' event. The purpose of education is to instill a sense of analytical reasoning among the people. The objective of Brainware University also coincides with this purpose. The university is not only concerned with the academic curriculum but also mentors young minds for a holistic approach.
At the event on 'National Education Day', students added a perspective of 'education as a social evil' through their poster presentations. They spoke about the evolution of education in India and reflected on the 'true purpose of education'.
Allover, it was a thought-provoking afternoon for the students and faculty members.
