Job prospects and opportunities in Agricultural Science

As per the World Bank report, employment in agriculture in India was reported at 41.49% in 2020. In the coming years, this percentage is expected to rise. The Department of Agriculture at Brainware University is focused to mentor its students so that they can utilize the increasing opportunities in the domain of Agriculture.

On January 28, 2023, the Department of Agriculture organized a webinar on the prospects and avenues in Agricultural Science for employability generation. The session was conducted by Dr. Pradeep Kumar Patel, Scientist ‘C’, Plant Physiology and Breeding, Tocklai Tea Research Institute, Tea Research Association, Jorhat, Assam. He discussed both government and private job opportunities. The speaker also interacted with the students and cleared their doubts.
