BA English (Hons) is a 3 years programme at Brainware University. The BA (H) English programme offered by the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Brainware University is uniquely designed to help students secure a rewarding job. The programme equips students with the knowledge and skills to thrive in a digital world. The experts understand and agree that simple reading of literature and conducting future research mostly confines the career scope within academia. At Brainware University regular workshops, seminars, masterclasses, and several creative events are organised to educate our students in the domain of digital content creation. Therefore, the syllabus comprises training in script writing, content writing, and copywriting for online platforms.
All the programmes offered at Brainware University are carefully curated to deliver industry-readiness to the students. Students across all the programmes have to attend a compulsory business communication class for fluency in spoken English. Special tutorials are provided for the preparation for the NET/ SET exams, and foreign language classes are provided to interested students. Masterclasses are organised to upskill students in the basics of report writing, copywriting, media reporting, web content writing, advertising copywriting and so on.
They are also provided interning opportunities at the top production houses. Few of our students have already gained popularity as authors. Regular workshops are organised on different literary themes and trending concepts to nurture creative spirits.
