The Department of Management & Commerce of Brainware University conducted a training programme on assertiveness at Berger Paints, on 15th December 2016. |
|
As a part of industry-academia interface, the Management Department of Brainware University initiated a unique drive on 'Management Development Program' for the technical and non-technical staffs of Berger Paints India Limited. The training programme was conducted by Dr Ashok Kr Mukherjee and Aditya Kr Ganguly of our Management dept., at Berger Factory, Rishra unit. |

The staffs were divided into groups of twenty and the training was imparted through lectures and PPT. Besides, some of the top officials of Berger, such as the Vice president, HR manager, and Relations manager graced the occasion. |

Celebrating skills |
|
Brainware Skills, as a certified partner of the NSDC, has been conducting skill training under PMKVY scheme, offering quality vocational training to the youth of the country, particularly to the women, the disabled and the underprivileged sections of society.
On December 30, 2016, a 'Kaushal Mela' was organised in West Medinipur by Brainware’s Balichak Centre, to spread the message on the need for skill-based training. Over 400 candidates attended the Fair and more than 150 trainees registered their names under General Duty Assistant (GDA course).
Selima Khatun Bibi, Honourable MLA of 229 Debra Paschim Medinipur, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Other dignitaries present were-Lalit Sen - BDO - Debra; Munmun Sen Mandal - Savapati Debra Pancahyet Samiti; Mamani Kar - Adhikarik, Nari O Shishu Kalyan Bikash Daptar, Debra.
